2 steals reraised, what do you think?

I went through the last blind level without a steal... this is what a tight image gets me. First hand I was kinda in pos, I hadnt been stealing at all, but I still shouldnt have done it, I was doing fine, and it coulda waited. but the second hand, I think I have no choice. AJos is not a great hand, however when I just got caught stealing, its folded to me and I have AJos, I have to fire again. If they push, they probably are doing it with something weaker, because I just got caught. What do you guys think?

a middle position raise of 1/3 your stack Either push or fold that. Any raise and you are close to commited and likely dominated. Give yourself a chance to fold out better hands with aggression...

fold the first hand before raising, then you will have enough chips to fold the next hand when you are reraised without being crippled.

In the first hand, middle position steal is very dangerous. There is still too
many people after you.

For the second hand, that's a tough situation. 1/3 of your stack already
committed. With that much money committed, it's a borderline decision.
All you could hope for is that he has middle pair.

My thinking in this situation is, AJ is often gold after you jsut got caught stealing.. because the range of hands that will try to resteal or just call you grows greatly.

But you did not get caught stealing, from the other players point of view!
You did not show your cards, you folded the first hand.
They assume you got a decent hand, but not a great hand to call the raise.

Be careful to distinguish between what you think your table image is and
what other think it is.

How do you figure, if I'm raising with 99 or aj here and someone pushes over the top I'll think about it but most of the time I'm folding. I dunno why you stole here, it was a bit silly you didn't have that great of position. As for the AJ, you need to be pushing or folding. I would personally look for a little bit better of a position before pushing, as you have enough chips to let the blinds pass, you are not in great need of a double up.

I dont agree, he reraised you all in. You would have needed a great hand to call that and there are a lot of decent hands you can have to make that raise and fold to such a big reraise.

If I saw that happen I would never assume you were caught stealing.

I figured I got caught, and he thought i was a push over then... not an ego thing, just how it seemed to me.
