Depends a bit on what you say happened.

If you say that someone at a 9 man table got dealt two cards to a royal flush and hit it on the flop, the odds of that are about 1:72000 (1:65000 in a 10 man game). That is a rough number and can be refined if it is really important.

If you say that someone at a 9 man table got dealt AK suited and hit the royal flush on the flop, the odds of that are about 1:720000 (1:650000 in a 10 man game). Again, that is a rough number and can be refined.

If you say that brmi1 got dealt 2 cards to a royal flush and hit a royal flush on the flop, the odds of that are 1:649740. That number is precise. Another way to think of this is, that is that chance of YOU getting this hand pre-deal.

I was asking for the odds of floping a royal flush in general. Good stuff. Needless to say it'll probably be a while before I see that again.

and Drmcboy - I'd love to see that SB matchup, but I think the closest that we're going to get to that is when they play each other in Detroit this coming season.
