Default Signature Images: MAX 500-PIXEL WIDTH

    Greetings, everyone.

I've noticed a trend lately of large images in people's signatures. This causes people to have to scroll sideways when browsing on most common monitor resolutions, as text is also flowed wider.

If your current sig image is wider than 500 pixels, please re-size them.
Please keep all sig images within this dimension.

If this trend continues, all signatures will be disabled.

    Thank you.

Ohhhhh. Now I get why you wanted mine to be 500 or less.

But 500 or less means no Calvin and Hobbes! Are you going to do this to these kind people?!

No one is exempt. Not even the big ape. It was you first, but I noticed others' sigs have been growing as well.

Your Calvin and Hobbes has always been a little too large. You could resize them, couldn't you?

I just take them right from another website. Resizing them and uploading them again would be too much work. You people just arn't worth it.

I hate to see the loss of calvin and hobbes, and the guy with the adriana lima sig, but some pages were starting to take a while to load because of them.

Let the monkey keep the comics, please? They were always a bright point of my day.

Yes, I think you should demand people buy bigger monitors. We have a standard here at FTR and that standard involves bigger monitors.

Should I start banning everyone with less than 1600x1200 right now?

I loved the calvin and hobbes, but between that and the sexy sig-images, browsing at work was a bit more hazardous than it is under the new rules.
Note: new guy and very open to constructive criticism, so go ahead and weigh in! I'm here to learn.

Thanks. That's one of the forums I rarely venture into.
