    Default Wild Style

Hey guys, new member here but long time visitor. I just want some comments on my playing style in tournaments. Anyways here goes. At first i like to call alot of things when the limit is low just to see if i hit anything on the flop like suited connectors, low pp, and high card K or A.
Then i will start playing like a maniac till i get down to about 600 or so chips, i then start playing super tight like a virgin ass, it seems to work well and throw people off on what kind of player i truly am seeing as i come in 1st most of the time, i find people calling my huge bets when i have Cowboys or Bullets. Any comments?

Are you calling preflop raises with these hands or just limping? Limping low pocket pairs or getting decent implied odds to call a raise and hit a set = good. Calling a raise heads-up with low PP = bad. Suited connectors are decent, but I wouldn't go out of my way to play an 86 suited. Kx and Ax are pretty much terrible hands, A9 is the lowest I'd go with Ax and KJ/maybe KT is the lowest I'd go with Kx, and I definitely wouldn't be calling a raise with them unless I got fantastic odds.

You're setting yourself up to lose if you fritter all your chips away early. Yeah, you might be able to double up when you get your AA/KK, but you're not always going to get that hand when it counts. Just play tight if that's what you're comfortable with and show a bluff/steal or two if you want to make your table image loose.

calling a raise with a PP headsup = good if the raise is less than 10% of your stack and they have about the same stack size as you.

This is true. But in SnGs, especially on Party, those factors can get out of range fairly quickly. And I suppose he'll have the chips to call <10% raises if he stops going in with K9 and A6.

    Intersting style.

I dont know which site you play in, but I play in pokerstars and it is very hard to rebound from a 600 stack (initial stack is 1500).

Although it is contrary to the common belief I agree with the concept of playing a bit looser in the beginning of the tournament, especially from late positions.

I am usually willing to risk up to 20% of my original stack to see a few flops for cheap with relatively weak cards (QJo, J9s, QTs, KTo) because if I hit I usually get paid very nicely, and in lower limit Sng there are usually 2-3 very weak players, which will bleed their chips and get knocked off first, I want to enjoy their chips, and it does not happen if I only camp and wait for monsters.

After I increase my stack a bit (hopefullly by 50-70% of the original stack) I would play tighter with a few timely steals
