I only min raised looking for action, since so many folds, looking for a raise utimately, and got it here. I was thinking of simply limping at this point, but min raised instead... it was a lil too early for me to get a read on kingster....I figured after the raise AK maybe, or JJ ...is this a decent play?

I tend to raise more early, but definetely you're risking picking up just the blinds, so I can see the play here. If you're going to play it weak, tho, you have to be willing to give it up to an A on the flop or sooted/str8 flops you don't have any of. On the upside, you don't have much invested so it shouldn't be hard to get away. Here even a worst case flop if it's checekd to you you can even make a continue bet on the flop and still get away with a reasonable stack if someone comes at you after a bad flop.

Last time I limped a big pair in this spot I got my AA cracked by Q2 making two pair, and I went right back to never slow playing except maybe smooth calling a raise from the BB when the pot will be heads up or other unique spots.

I get the feeling that kingster thought you were on a halfassed steal attempt and decided to resteal with a decent holding. I don't like the minraise that much though. It worked out well that time, but if you just end up getting 2 calls, the callers have gotten into the hand too cheaply. You just happened to run into one of those doubleluck hands which are the most profitable: opponent has second best hand and is going to pay you off in full.

Besides drmcboy's smooth call from the BB, the only slowplay I like preflop is limping from UTG or UTG+1, and reraising whoever raises. If no one ends up raising then my read of the table was off target.

I would have to say good move.
Idealy you would want one caller vs your cowboys.
The min raise is a probably the safest bet on having the SB fold and the BB calling.
You got lucky that he reraised you
