    Default Damn Move-In Specialists...

$25 SnG and its down to the final two, me and one other HU. I have 9.5k in chips, he has 3.5k. Easy right? So I play my usual HU style, aggressive as hell. I'm raising every hand PF and post-flop regardless of my cards until given any signal that im beat. Blinds are 300/600 so theyre a decent portion of my (and esp his) stack.

THEN he grows tired of it and starts pushing every hand. I cant ever complete my SB cause hes pushing and I have to fold every BB. Thats $900 in chips I lose EVERY ORBIT.

After he raised his chipstack to 5.5k I became scared. I couldnt wait for a premium hand any longer. I'm BB with Q8o and he pushes, thinking this might be my best hand before he has me outchipped, I call. He shows Q7o and I win.

Is there any strategy to take down this kind of player though? Just call one of the first few all-ins regardless of cards or camp for a decent hand?

HU starting hands have a lot of added value when it is possible to knock out your opponent.....therefore the requirements decrease.

If you double him up once...so be it....he probably goes back to playing how he was and you can take him to school.....youll bust him eventually.

I recently had a SnG on stars where this happened. I pick and chose my spots to call him or push him in. The cards just wouldnt fall in my way, sometimes people get lucky.

I'm with gabe. As soon as you see this, get first-to-act and push with anything better than 52o. You can't surrender momentum like that.

What you're saying, in effect, is "two can play at that game, smart guy. In fact I can play it a $%#$%^ lot better since I have you about 3 to 1.
