Default Improvement from 5$ SnG to 10$ SnG

How much better do the players get at the 10 dollar level? I'm happy just winning the amount I win now, because I love playing poker and I like learning how to play against fish (because that is what I mostly do irl). If I have been doing well at the 5$, is it recommended that I move up? Here is how I have placed in these tournaments.

    1st - 8
    2nd - 3
    3rd - 3
    4th - 2
    5th - 6
    6th - 1
    7th - 1
    8th - 1
    9th - 3
    10th - 0

I know the stats aren't perfect, and i'm a little embarressed about two of the 9th place finishes (one i had to leave the computer for something unexpected). So what do you think? Should I give the 10 dollar tables a shot? If I lose the first two is it just a fluke and I should keep trying or go back down to 5?
    Thanks!

What is your bank roll at right now?

The play at the 10s isnt significantly better, or even marginally better. If you are confident in your play, you should move up. However, be ready for the inevitable slide that you will hit. You and your BR both need to be ready for it.

Also 28 SNGs is a very small sample size. Your ROI and ITM are not sustainable at such a %. However, you have an obscene number of first places, which I can only attribute to good play in the late stages of an SNG. Congrats on the success.

Id say wait till you break the 200 dollar mark before you start moving up to the 10s. I just dropped like 90 bucks playing the 10s, so you might want to have ur BR ready for that.

At any point that you fall below 20-25 buyins for the previous level, your going to want to drop down.
I.e. you play the tens, you lose a shit load, and ur BR is now down to 110 bucks, drop back down to the 5.5s and regrind your way back up.

I actually did better when I moved up from $5 to $10, I think the very loose play at the $5's caused this, along with some bad luck. The $10 you can expect slightly less complete fools, which isnt that bad because it makes the game more consistent. But I would still limit you bluffs at pots where you think your opponet has top pair, because usually they wont lay it down.

As for your bankroll, set a limit for yourself (maybe $150), and if you go under then return to the $5 SnG's.

There is only a slight difference in $5's to $10's. What site are we talking about anyways?

The 10 wont be much different, but its a hell of a lot better on rake.
