Default Building the Pot with suitd connectors

    Hey guys
I just wanted to share a little trick I like to use in certain situations that is great for getting returns on your pot odds. When i'm in late position and I have 3 people limp in before me and I have suited connectors or a suited ax i like to raise the x1 bb. Most people will call when you just raise it 1bb and when you hit your hand you have beefed up the pot a significant amount.
    What do you think?

sounds good. You might also consider raising more than that even though (occasionally) so as to have more folding equity if your raise weeds down the field.
    If I had a hammer
    I'd drop in the morning
    I'd drop in the evening..

can you explain folding equity to me? i haven't heard the term before. is it just the loose money in the pot that people fold, dead money or whatever?

It's basically the chances the field will fold if you bet. Say, if the flop comes up A high after you put in a PF raise, it's checked around to you, you potentially have folding equity if you put in a decent sized bet.

i don't think this is a wise play. i think what the other person said might make it wise. if you raise the bets more to make it look like you have the goods, then when your super draw doesn't hit you can still take down quite a few pots.

other than that just limp these guy's they don't hit enough to fuck around with raising them...

Yeah I know they don't hit very often, that's why I don't play them unless there are a lot of people in the hand. I like to have as much money in the pot when i'm playing these as possible. Most of the time i'm going to be wasting a few bets so I don't risk what I can't afford to lose on these hands.
