Default small stacked in multi-table sng's

I find a lot of times im in the last 15 without 1k chips(what u start out with)

the blinds are 100/200 and it gets folded to me and im on the button. I have been pushing AI and getting called a lot here, where as the calling hands are very weak, jq, 10j just put me out. Does anyone have a better strategy for maintaining a stack while waiting for a double up hand? I'm tired of busting like this... What sort of hands should i push with on the button as a small stack?

Suited Connectors, Suited One gappers, Pocket Pairs.

I find that pushing with Ax is a bad idea. Once people catch on that your pushing with lots of sutff, they will call with Ax alot, and often times you will be dominated cuz your kicker is smaller.

Pushing with what you will know to be live cards is the best idea. KQs is usually a realyl good pushing hand for me.

Don't know if you have seen this thread but it is brilliant! It helps not only in the MTTs but in the SnG as well. Each require a certain pacing and patience and this thread made me think about some things more clearly in terms of chip conservation and chip accumulation.

VQChuang is right on the money. Suited connectors and semi-connectors are much better then A/x hands to push with!

VC i have another Q for u to add on to those pushing hands.

At what point should you go into do or die mode and accept a coinflip as your fate? I know this is a broad topic so lets narrow it down to my specialty, the 3-table sng.

You don't have to push with those suited 1 gappers and connectors until you're down to 3x BB right?

Also, Lets say you get a low pocket 66-22 with 6-10BB left. These are hardly hands you want to bust on, and you don't really have enough in your stack to call. Do you just fold these or what?

as a short stack, i still try to avoid coinflips. i would rather just steal blinds in position. i folded to me in late position, i'll push any pair. but if i had 33 utg with 6bb, i would try to absorb the blinds and then try to get in as many steals as possible the next orbit.
