ah, not particularly. He's only about 20 - 25% to win from here, even against a random hand. If I do have a pair (I make the same play with a 6 or an 8) it's down to oh, say, 5%

    What's sarcasm?

Nah, actually I just wanted to make sure the huge monkey didn't enjoy more than 2.3 minutes of primitive emasculated gorilla lust with his ego. Pot odds my fanny.

What would he do if you showed aggression preflop? Did he re-raise alot as well or just raise anytime someone limped it? Why didn't you raise here?

**Note:This post contains no sarcasm whatsoever**

He could have done anything from fold to push back (he would have had a rather large range I think). With the 2/4 he would have folded, but with a lot of things he probably at least would have called. Maybe a min-raise would be in order there, but I'm not big on min-raises in general.

With him most likely calling and me being out of position on the flop I was more content to limp and see a flop. He would have re-raised more PF with an A, so I wasn't scared there so with the push on the flop I figured he'd call with a 6 or 8 or possibly just K or Q high, but I figured I had folding equity, plus likely overcards to any pair he had + a gutshot. So I had outs if he didn't fold.

Why he called with 2/4o is beyond me, though. Did he think I'd push w/ 2/3o? Sheesh.

Granted his call was a bit foolish, he didn't have that many more chips than you and the other man at the table, so it isn't like it was worth the odds for him. Even so at a late stage in an SNG (I assume that is what you were playing) calling in marginal hands is horrible, a rich BB will almost always raise you and suddenly you don't know where you are. If you weren't that confident in the hand then don't play at all. It's not like you were all that strap for BB's. Otherwise represent a little bit of strength and lay in a raise. I know this guy called in rather stupidly, but not all players are like him
    Operation: 50 SNG's $1+0.10
    Aim: +ve ROI

    Fail: Repeat and improve
    Succeed: 50 SNG's $2+0.20 & improve on previous ROI

    Time: Open

    ITM: 47.1%
    ROI: 15.5%

This was actually I think only the second hand I limped the entire game (I limped a med. PP at the early blinds), so part of it was also just trying to mix it up a bit, in addition to the fact that I had raised the two hands prior to this (one I folded on the flop, the other I picked up the blinds). I don't think the PF play was wholly out of order, though perhaps not optimal.
