wrong to call all in here?

Okay. This guy established himself as a maniac aggressor who blind steals. He was caught going all in with 10 J and 3 7. He was blind stealing when no one raised pre-flop before him. I didn't raise pre-flop because I was trying to trap him. I called his All-In thinking it was a routine blind steal, but I was the one who got trapped.

Tough play... I dislike calling AI with AJ even against a bluffer, they catch hands too.

I probably fold and wait until I trap him with QQ or AK...

Yeah tough call, even against a maniac AJ isnt that strong. If both his cards are live you are probably only ahead like 60-40 or so. If this guy really is a maniac, you can probably find a chance to trap him when you have him way behind or even drawing dead

Fair enough. I mean I usually know how to play with maniacs, but going AI with 3 7 told me this wasn't the smartest maniac-type player.

I guess I was thinking in the short term of doubling up than the long term of maybe getting eliminated.

Not good enough to go AI on with 9 plrs, though.

The limp was bad, AJ is not a limping hand, its a raise or fold. The call here is even worse.
