    Default On-line acting

I had been at the table for some 20 minutes. No real read on the other guy.

Fflash: raises $18.75 to $23.75 and is all-in
He used up all of his time before pushing. Because he took so long then decided to push raised all sorts of alarm bells in my head. After some deliberation of my own, I decided he held TT and tried to trap me with his "Hollywood" act. Good fold or did he just outplay me?
    ngericl: folds
    Fflash collected $12.70 from pot
    Fflash: doesn't show hand

    Who knows.

But I generally tend to believe this is a tell. Most guys aren't really thinking for that long. Most guys take the 20 seconds to fold.

So yeah, when they wait that long and raise, I'm generally very wary.

The problem with this is that at this level he could be "hollywooding" with AT or JJ. Hard decision if you have no read. I think I would have to call just because I've seen over and over again that people at this level will put in their money here with lots of hands that I beat.

I'll usually chicken out on these. The chance of his making a set or two pair are very slim and its probably ok to get beat once in a while as opposed to folding. I posted a similar hand.

    himself fucker.
I wouldn't lead on the flop for a dollar which would make my reraise much bigger than 5, which would make my decision to call a lot easier.

I have no idea about the acting though.

1 dollar preflop. 3 on the flop. Get raised to 6, I'd reraise to 16-25 depending on my mood.

Folding here is goofy. He most likely has a flush draw or AT.

Most likely reading from my level of the game: He hasn't had his attention taken by any sizeable bets before his post-flop raise, so when he makes a pair of tens (AT is my guess, too) on the flop, he gets super-aggressive to push you out.

He could well have TT (or 44 or 55) but the weak betting gives nothing away. Raising by £1 with trip tens in itself seems weak, especially for someone willing to go all-in against a re-raise, but then again...

I'd say it's 50/50 at this point as to whether he has trips or not. But I think the fundamental problem is that you didn't raise enough up to the point of no return.
