Default Ante effect on blind play

    When there is an ante...

Should I be more likely to call a raise from the BB?

Should I try to steal more often?

Should I limp in from SB more often?

I'm just wondering how it effects your play considering it affects pot odds which are still not completely clear to me.

i dont feel any pressure to complete blinds or play out of position with an ante because its usually so much smaller than the blinds. there is more incentive to steal though.

Well the antes increase your pot odds. Think about that before completing the SB.

Antes more or less "force" you to steal the pot PF occasionally. As Ihategnomes said the antes give you bigger pot odds (antes alltogether will be about the amount of SB) so you should be more inclined to complete the SB.

If someone raises you big, lets say 3xBB I dont really think about antes when deciding whether to call or not.
