I think I woulda done the EXACT same place of 99th, if I never sat down and took my seat. Im trying to be tighter earlier on, but I could never get chips to not be tight.

Only thing I woulda done different is pushed the JJ, but woulda led to the same result. Maybe check/fold, but with the blinds coming around I didnt have a choice. Maybe I shoulda limped with JJ?

Well after this tourney, I feel waaaaaaaaaayyyyy to weak/passive. But I never hit a single hand except my second to last one. Played about 6 hands in 1 hour 30 minutes........

sorry to bump this thread but I'm trying to improve my MTT play. Looking back at it I dont think i would have played this tourney differently except pushing JJ preflop being a shortstack........

So was I too tight, not aggressive enough?...just looking for any feedback. Thank you.

Managed to get some results recently (mostly by following the words of wisdom on this site). So heres my advise, for what its worth.

Hand 4: Maybe you could have bet the flop when the BB checked it to you, or did you think he was being tricky? Turned out OK anyway.

Hand 5: I would have folded this, even for a discount.

Hand 10: cant see how many chips you have left, but i might have raised / pushed this one for a steal, depending on my read of the BB and how many chips they have.

I would push on the JJ too, as you say. The rest looks cool. I always try to play tight early on, just looking for that double up to give me some chips for stealing later on, but if the cards dont cooperate, its tough!
