    Default AQs on the bubble

I'm in a SnG, a ladder, 2nd step of four.

5 people left out of 10, I have around 2000 in chips, two others have an equal amount and then there are two bigger stacks. I get dealt :Ah::Qh: UTG. Everyone folds, exept one of the equally sized stacks. He raises the to 3xBB (600). I re-raise him, figuring 3xBB is not very much, and he's probably just stealing.

Then he pushes, and I call (I put him on Ax or maybe a PP here, hes trying to steal again) . He flips over , and takes the pot because I don't hit.

How should I play this? I think I maybe should have pushed right away (after his raise), because that would maybe made him fold. Is it a fold?

This is a coin flip. You need to win some of these to get through
the bubble. I will call these with AK and with AQ most of the time.

He had been raising some, I didn't feel like I had a good read on him. Maybe I was to fast to put him on a steal attempt?

And yeah, I forgot to mention. 1,2,3 didnt matter, all those places made a seat to the next level.

In my opinion, if you feel he's on small to mid pockets, I like to see a flop, and then bet when the (hopefully) overcards fall. It makes it a lot harder to push all in with 6's when you are staring at a J on the board.

I would have called to see a flop not re-raise unless he is clearly LAggy. And if I get no help on the flop....I let go of the hand. Pick another spot to push/steal etc. Especially since 3rd is as good as first you can 'limp ITM' if necessary.
