Default I've been playing for too little, it seems.

Came over to UB a while ago, and while I was generally doing ok at ring games -- save my leak I've identified and I'm trying to fix -- I've been getting CONSTANTLY bitchslapped at $1+.10 and $5+.50 SnGs. I mean, like 70% OOTM playing about 2/3 10-man, 1/3 6-man. It's been downright painful.

Anyway, I won a home game a couple weeks ago and thanks to the online casino whoring, I put most of that online and built it up to about $500. Then took $200 and used it to get the UB reload bonus. Since then I'm 1 win and a 2 2nd at 10-man SnGs -- $20+2, plus up a healthy amount at ring.

I *think* what's happening is that the bigger stakes are forcing me to focus more, and I'm playing better, more consistently because of it.

Anyone else run into the same situation?

first off ROI is more imrpotant than ITM.

ITM is more accurately determinable wiht a lower sample size.

This could all be due to variance. how big is this sample size? If you say 25. I will slap you =). Im running -27.3% ROi over the most recent 25.
I would like to refer everyone to this study of variance.

No doubt it is important to play for $$ that are meaningful to you. If your BR supports it and you want to move up a level it's always a good idea.
