now, where was i, oh yes...

puddles was covered in mud, and i didn't want mother to find out. so i took puddles out back, hosed him off, and used the sheets drying on the line to dry him off.

"FISHSTICK, my clean sheets!!!" mother yelled.

she was made as a hornet.

"gosh mother, i'm ever so sorry, but puddles got very dirty and i was just trying to clean him up."

that made her smile, and she forgave us. she even made puddles and i peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch, with the crusts cut off.
