Default Winning a SnG in 7 hands (hh)

I'm pretty much excited how the tourney developed.

I was taking risks and wanted to no let any edges pass by.

The results, as the subject says, is a winning in 7 hands.

How do you guys who are confortable with SnG see these plays?

Hand 40 – don’t like min raising with AA here as u are pretty much going to get everyone calling, putting your AA at risk. However, when u get everyone involved, I wouldn’t be averse to CRing here. Give one of the other 4 people a chance to bluff at a rag board, then fire your chips in. Or, bet less and try and get someone to come along for the ride.

Hand 42 – Why are u folding pocket 8’s here?

    Hand 48 – Why fold AJ short-handed?

Hand 50 – Nice aggression. Did u have a read? But I don’t understand why u will raise w/ KTo but not play AJ or 88?

Hand 53 – 4 handed, QJo, two relatively equally short stacks who are going to be worried about the bubble, I’m playing this here by at least probing with a raise

Hand 57 – Brave call with only Q hi. Read?

Why folded AJo and raise KTo?
  4. #4
    HAND #40

Yeah, I don't usually play AA like that. Never I could say. But I was one of the shortest stacks of the table, and decided to give it a try and get some more money in the pot. If I raised and cleared the field, I would have to kill it before the flop anyway, and, unless I got called, it wouldn't be that much money.

So I miniraised, and almost everybody called. The flop came, low cards. Then, It was risky enough, so I decided to put all-in and kill it right there.

This way, I almost doubled my stacks. Risky, but worked fine. I would be frustrated if everybody folded before flop with a bigger raise.

    HAND #42

I decided to fold 88 because there were 2 quite solid players calling before me, and there were still 3 players to act. Didn't want to call and get raised..

    HAND #48

It's not a normal act to me, actually, but I just wasn't feel like I wanted to play AJo in early position with this guys

    HAND #50

I have folded most of my hands, and sometimes I've shown them what I had (big cards)

I had a solid image at this time, and decided to give it a try to steal the blinds here, as nobody raised before me. I decided to make this raise, and if I was re-raised before the flop I would fold.

Only the 3rd stack of the table called. I was guessing he called because of his stack size, so let's see the flop.

the flop wasn't that good, and I decided to check here to evaluate his action. As he minirased, I found it weakness, So I did another try at the steal. And it worked.

    HAND #53

Really don't know why I dind't played this one here LOL.

    HAND #57

    This was a tough one!

As the chip leader, itm, and watching the 2nd biggest stack fold, I decided to steal the blind.
Got surprised when I was called.

The flop comes harmless (well, should be). The short stack makes a miniraise. I 3 bet trying to steal. Surprisingly he bets all-in.

I thinked for a second, and believed that if the flop helped him, it was not cards to be there anyway (unless he had a set).
If he had a big pair, he should have raise before the flop, and he was short stacked and wanted to make money.
I could almost see this play as a desesperate try to caught my steal, making me fold.
A call here wouldn't cripple my stacks, so I went for it. and he was drawing for a straight.

Maybe looking the hh after the game, I should have done some things differently. But in the heat of the action, I just appeared to me as good choices

AA - instead of winning the pot, you gave every one a (basically) free shot at your stack. Raised 5x here, someone will call. AI might be better depending on the table, this is a good spot for a small stack to make a play with any two, especially one who has folded the last 40 hands. How much more frustrated would you have been when they showed you the set? No one calls your bet on the flop unless you're beat... unless they have A9 exactly, and if they are calling with A9 there, they'd probably have called a raise/AI pre flop anyway.
