    Default good push?

I had been in survival mode for a while with no cards. I hate these decisions. The table was loose, but I was in no position to wait around for premium hands?

This is tough really. I can't scold you because it isn't a terrible push, but I will not support it because you weren't on the verge of being blinded out. When the BB/SB hit you, you're left with roughly 1200, which is quite enough to do more damage and find a better spot to put your chips in the middle with. You're looking mainly for any PP, or Ax, preferably A9 - AK.

In my opinion I fold this, especially since you're UTG+2, and camp out for a little better hand, especially since you have a loose table.

    Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I was mindful of these factors. The old me would have folded it in an instant, but the old me played scared. I suppose what I really want is the odds of getting a better hand in the next 10 hands. The blinds were soon to arrive as well. Normally I would push in LP with a steal rather than do this with KJ, but the guy on my right had already called a pushed steal attempt with 87o (I doubled up with T9).

I was playing to win aswell, and 1140 chips didn't seem like such an attractive position from which to mount my challenge.

It's the position I don't like, too many still to act. LP I'd say push, even with a limp. Also I'm not wild about moving against the huge stack's BB....

still you're so short stacked compared to the rest I can't fault it too much, you're going to need a little luck here. With the loose table you can expect a call from A high, which unless you're unlucky (AK/AJ) isn't that big a favorite.

This guy betting with 88 here on the flop is just unreal.
