Default any problems with how i played this..

On the flop i just called to see how he plasy the turn. on the turn he bets small so i dont think he has trips or 2 pair. esp since there is a flush draw.
raising on teh river wouldnt of mattered because he was on a missed draw... but i still felt i was a bit weak on this hand.. suggestions welcome im just gettin back to ring

I would generally re-raise to 20-25 and see how he reacts. By just calling you were giving him the free card for his draw so you sorta misplayed it. However by just calling, you risk getting out drawn, but you keep the pot managable with only tptk, which is definately a good thing.

I would mostly be leaning towards calling in the second hand.......he may have flopped the straight...I highly doubt that he pops it to AI if he hits that big of hand however....

If he does have the straight you have outs to filling up.......I dont think I would have discipline to muck top set there......

    himself fucker.
I dislike your fold on the second hand becuase you have outs (and will pick up more outs on the turn) if your beat. So you're either a decent dog or an enormous favorite.

Hand 1 is standard. Unless you weren't sure you were ahead. Then you should blocking bet the river for 15.

well, unless its the same player you cant put the read that since he went AI he mush have flopped the straight....I dont play at party, but if they are all uber fish that go AI when the get a huge hand....

An example, I had about this same hand one time....I had middle set to a straight board....dude goes AI awfully quick.....dude had top two pair, he filled up, but at least I was ahead when I called the quick AI....something to think about....especially if hes on tilt he coulda called a raise with any 2 cards and picked up two pair....unfortunately its unlikely that hes protecting top pair since your holding two of em......

I think I still make the call.

I call the second one. I think that best case scenario, he has AJ or some kind of OESD. Maybe even 2 pair, depending how loose he is preflop. If he's calling 6x BB raises wit JQ, maybe you should call, and take it all back in the next couple of hours.
