    1. why did you reraise preflop? his minraise should be screaming a monster, definitely just a call here. then when he raised you AGAIN, there is no correct move here except fold, 90% of the time he will have AA or KK, 9% he will have AKs, and 1% he will have QQ. and then when the flop came out PERFECT for your hand...you checked folded? what were your intentions of even seeing the flop if u were going to fold with the best possible flop you could see, especially to a bet HALF the size of the pot? not to be mean but this hand was downright terrible.

    2. why in the world didnt you raise this preflop? i dont get it at all. this would determine whether or not you call on the turn...but its probably a fold (might have 2 pair) because T8 is a very limpable hand. if you would have raised preflop this would have been the easiest call of your life. with a hand like JJ you need all the reads you can get, and you cant get that without raising.

    3. theres a bad beat forum

i dont quite see how you go from being comfortable with raising and then reraising preflop with QQ, to limping with JJ (on the button might i add) which is only 1 hand lower in rank

    1. let's say you call that. flop comes all low, you're out of position, your bet? do you check fold? bet? how much? if you're gonna lead out bet the flop, why not just put that in preflop?

    2. i limp jacks, what can i say? I do admit, as i played the hand it seemed like if i ever was gonna raise with jacks, that would be the time. this does make me wonder, would it be a better idea to play jacks fast if there's no raise before you, and only limp if there's a raise? i'd never really thought about that, i just lumped 22-JJ as limp material.

    3. I just posted it because more or less right as i finished posting the first two, the third one happened. this is a hand history forum, its not like its totally out of place.

well, its mainly because if i have aces, i'm fearing no hand. if i have kings, there's one hand i don't wanna see. If i have queens, there are 3 hands i don't wanna see. if i have jacks, there are 6 hands i don't want to see. you just have to draw a line somewhere. If you raise jacks, do you raise tens? 9's? when do you start limping for sets?
