    Default Tough KK hand

Is this how you would play it? I was scared he had AA, QQ, or JJ based on his pre-flop raise and his call of my flop bet. Nearly folded on the river but eventually concluded I might have him and called, boy am I glad I did lol.

I would start to get really woried when he cold called you flop bet.
I like the check on the turn, you are out of position and you dont really know what you are betting into here. Him checking behind looks like weakness, trying to improve or get a cheap showdown.
Then he moves in on the river? VERY tough call. Realistically the only hand you beat here is AQ. AA is definetely out both because of the pre-flop and on the flop and turn action. QQ and JJ would cross my mind here.
But he played so weird (or shall I say bad?) to put him on QQ or JJ. What did you think he had when you made that call? Was JQ a possibility and now you counterfeited his 2nd pair?
You had a good read on him? I'd most likely have folded here unless I am think he is capable of moving in here with TPTK with no cards to come.

    Good call

    himself fucker.
I hate those situations. When for some reason you read your op for JJ-AA, AK/AQ and the board is QJxx and your opponent is putting his chips in.

If he checks behind on the turn, I bet the river for 175.

I fold that river too frequently, I feel.

I'd probably flip a coin. Heads I call, tails I fold. It's really easy for him to have AA, QQ, or JJ there (especially QQ or JJ). AQ is the one hand he might have that you're still ahead of, and that I can see him playing in this manner. Or it could be a bluff. I think you have to call this sometimes, but without a very specific read - you're basically flipping a coin.

The guy said he put me on TT after the check on the turn and river and the river all-in was a value bet. He was suprised when it took me so long to make my decision to call.

Am I the only one suprised to see AQ played this way? I mean, if he raises you on the flop he'd find out for sure if you had TT.

Then the river is goofy, like you're calling with TT... nothing calls here that doesn't beat AQ, that would be the opposite of a value bet.

Even pre flop I can't see calling a re raise with two still to act behind.

I'm not surprised, but I do think it's dumb. Those are two separate issues. Lots of people do lots of dumb things.
