Well on the turn, you have to look at what he would call you with on the flop....there was no flush draw...a goofy straight draw that I would doubt he would be on.
My geuss there is that he was sitting on KQ, KJ....maybe lower PP....and after that big turn bet he realized he was beat......since you couldnt be sucked out by the flush you want him to come along for the ride, I would say maybe 1/2-3/4 pot turn bet.
This would give him bad odds and maybe sucker him into calling. But it is still good play....nothing wrong with dropping the hammer.
