    Default I am a MANIAC!!!

I am in the process of testing a theory...I'll post updates here. Playing the 1$ MTT Fast (levels 5mins) on Pacific. Any good hand I'm pushing til I build a big stack. 3 hands in:

2nd hand: AK clubs. Push with 3 limpers pre-flop. Get caller, double up

3rd hand: AT pre-flop. Flop a T, pot bet with Q on board. Turn an A, push. Get 1 caller, win

4th Hand: 66 limp flops a set. Check, push on turn, 2 callers...4000 in chips!

5th hand: QQ, push pre-flop and pick up 100 in chips.

    Updates soon.....

First setback...3rd level, flop TP no kicker, short stack pushes, I have 10 x his stack so I call. Outkicked. Had a feeling about it, but had to stick with the theory. Have 7th biggest stack of $3000ish.

Lose 500 chips with K-high flush vs A-high flush. Disappointing but only 450 left out of 780 starting, level 4, and I have twice av. stack. Might have to play a bit smarter soon. Weirdly, have been dealt T4o in three different guises in 5 hands.

Bit of a win there. KT flopped a T, AI vs 55...flop with 8 went runner runner 8 to give bigger FH. He had big stack, took one other and gives me $5000 chips. 12 of 353 left.

Just had a wee look at the payout. WTF...1st $50, 5-90th $10. Either going to tighten up towards the bubble or go for it. Undecided as I sober up here.

Well my 77 somehow holds up vs AI from 2000 stack. Have 6900 chips, 150/300 blinds. Only 210 left, with 2900 av. stack. I should play drunk every week.

I am 35th, 5500 stack and almost shortstacked with 500 blinds!

Not much to report. Knocked out a short stack with 77, then folded 77 to an AI move from a bigger stack. No real hands apart from a couple of steals for the blinds. still ~5700, av. is 4800 with 120 left. Really catches up with you quick...need to keep pressure on.

Approaching the first break I am below the average stack for the first time. 110 left, sitting in 55th position. Exact midldle, but only 4800 chips compared to 5600 average. Haven't had a playable hand in a while. Not sure how to proceed with the AI theory. Worked well so far. If I want to win I need to continue. Probably wait til in the money then ramp it up.

Def tightened up...just folded KT in middle position. Won an AI earlier with this!

At the first break we have 100 left. Although I had superb hands to start with I would never have played them so aggrssively if I was playing my normal game. Don't know what to make of this at this level. Probably a combination of needing to pursue more selective aggression in my game and the fact that these people are idiots. I have 6000 chips after a steal, average is 6200. Keeping up at least.

I hate this game...after stealing the 2250 in blinds from the button I'm moved straight into BB.

Folded KQs in BB to min. raise from button just because there is 1 left til money. Hmmm..............

Kevin is ITM. Apart from that last tight play I am delighted.

Hahahaha...whilst typing in the chat box I go AI by accident with 75o...and beat AQ. ROFL!

AI with A9 in BB. Called by KQ and win with high card. Up from 4500 chips (3000 blind) to 16000. 50 left.

The all-ins left, right and centre are negating my strategy. Next time I pick my spot and go. 14000 chips, 20000 av. with 4000 big blind.

Oh well...folded to button, AI with A5 hearts, both blinds call and lost to TT when I don't improve. Can't complain with 27th place finish from 773 starters. Scarily, that's my best finish from such a large field. My 3 final tables have been versus fields of 200-300. Shows what luck and aggression can do. Not much skill involved apart from picking a spot and steals. Was a fun end to the evening!

Nah, trying to get a reputation a someone who makes pointless posts....bit like dwarfman.

Wanted to keep a record of my progress and didn't have any paper! It shows how much these turbo tournaments rely on cards and coinflips. Does anyone know if you can see your opponent's mucked cards on Pacific hand histories? Really want to analyse this and see how far ahead/behind I was when I pushed each time.

Yep, that 75o was the best hand all night....perhaps even in my poker career.
