Unless you can be mostly sure of a raise after you, I'd raise preflop.

Call that river. He's betting too hard for a made straight.

Why didn't you raise pre-flop? I understand you might want the action that a raise UTG might scare off, but still...

I didn't raise from UTG because I was hoping for a reraise opportunity. The table saw PFRs most of the time with a few Aggro's in middle positions.

The call on the flop worried me. I had turned over the goods a couple of times against this player so he knew I probably wasn't bluffing. I also felt he was a typical mid-skill-level aggr. who probably wouldn't try bluff.

I was worried about the trips deuces but he could've had 9X. His check on the turn looked weak but anyone would slowplay a 2 at that point.

Yeah checking the turn puts you in a weird spot... I know you wanted a raise but I think if you're this nervous about playing AA you should raise it every time.

You definitly need to bet the turn here and probably check the river.

Ick. What a time for the table to go against the grain. Agree that opp. holding a 2 is possible, but more likely he's holding a 9. If that's the case, even a turn bet wouldn't scare him off, I think. He's holding top pair, there's no way he could put you on an over pair.
