Default Probably shouldn't try this again?

A rush of blood to the mouse clicking finger and I went from first to worst.
Would anyone else consider calling my opponent's all-in bet on the flop?

I figured I had about 12 outs (9 diamonds + 3 Aces = ~44% chance of hitting turn or river) and massive favourite for heads up if it came off.

(Incidently, RenoTed scooped the rest of my chips next hand but finished in second place!)

Unless I thought he'd do the same on a str8/flush draw it's an easy fold. Otherwise it's a tough fold. But in either case, fold. The only time I'd call is if he'd been doing this with nothing before.

I think this comes down to personal preference. In the hand, I presume you knew you were about 45% to win. It's your call if you want to basically decide 3rd or 1st on a coinflip, or risk finding a better spot with your remaining 3245 chips. Neither choice is wrong.

For me, with madfrog so low, I would fold here. The profit of 2nd over 3rd is enough to make me want him out before going gambling. Note, that's different from getting passive...a PFR followed a fold on this hand is still agressive, just not overly risky.

Easy Fold, especially considering how few chips madfrog will be left with, practically guarantees you position yourself for 1st or 2nd.

No point risking all that hard work on a hand where you know you are behind

Did you have a read on the BB ? has he given up his blind to raises earlier on, bluffed much etc etc.

he has 13bb, his two opponents have less. they know if they call it could be their last hand. i push a wide range of cards here.

Yeah I'm with Gabe, just move it in there. If small stack calls, great, you can't imagine Reno Ted will call without an uber hand with the SS about to bust. Use that bubble. At the very least make a real raise, you're pricing the guy in here. A better raise would have given you such a big price you could call on the flop no worries. As is I don't hate or love the play, don't forget you could be in against A3 or A10 and have less outs than you think.

    I would have raised to 900-1000 pre-flop.
Definitely folding, clear that he is protecting his TP. He might has well have typed in the chat box that he hit his K and he is scared of the flop.

    Preflop play aside.
If I were playing gabe, I would call that All in everyday. Looks like the stop and go to me.

Concerning Preflop play. You should realy ballsack the raise and scare someone.

Without any reads and a very small stack in 3rd, I think that's a fairly easy fold. I might push with that flop, but I wouldn't call an AI here. Why coinflip if you're fairly sure you're behind?

There was 1550 in the pot on the flop. He bets 2425. So you're investing 2425 to win (2425+1550) or 3975. 2425/(2425+3975)=37.9%. You had a 44% chance of winning. Good call.

+EV in chips does not always mean +EV in money, and most of us play for money.
