dont play KJo for one thing.

you had a good hand run into a better hand. it happens.

why are you raising KJo in early-middle position?

STBY? fold pre flop, if you fold here after calling a raise with KJ, you have problems.

The table was playing tight and I was planning to scare them out of the pot as long as they didn't hit, or fold if they did.

I never called a raise. I was the only one raising up until one point when someone else re-raised. I was thinking he might think I was bluffing and wanted to steal, or he was making a mistake. So I pushed hoping to double-up on his mistake, or at least take the pot down. The thought that he may have limped pocket 3s for a set, and hit a full house never even crossed my mind.

    reading is fundamental.

certainly 33 should cross your mind here, but QJ and J10 probably pay you off... I think mostly you're going broke here. This guy correctly reasons that he isn't getting paid off unless someone has a J or an overpair they are married to so he moves with his monster. And you had the J. I guess the one quibble would be a free card isn't likely to hurt you so a smooth call may be in order just in case he is bluffing, but either way all your chips are going in here.
