    Default SNG Variance

I was browsing the twoplustwo forums and found 2 excellent posts on SNG variance.

The poster in this first post ran a tests over thousands upon thousands of SNGs using a simulator for a theoretical winning player playing the $20+2 SNGs. I believe that upon reading this post, you'll be able look past the downswings and will be able to focus more intently at the long run.

This second post includes a program which lets you enter your own simulation criterion and gives you expected OOTM streaks, ITM, downswings, and other stats. Play around with it a little and you may be surprised with some of the stats

whenever i set my block size greater than 1, the ITM starts going up, and eventually it just says 100% ITM, but the ROI stays the same....arg

I think when you set the block size higher than 1, the ITM begins to measure the percentage of winning blocks.
