    Default Interesting hand

I got completely flamed from everyone in the chat for this hand. No one understood the concept of pot odds and everyone thought I was a huge fish. The chat seriously wouldnt stop talking about this for like 10 minutes.

I try to steal the pot on the flop and he gives me the right pot odds on the turn. A very interesting hand that gave me the chip lead to allow me to eventually win the tournament. Calling for 10 chips with a crappy hand out of position is arguable. When the blinds are that small I might of did it with 270 since the table was rather tight.

Don't know about anyone else but when the blinds are that small I'm folding 47 in the small blind MOST of the time even though it's cheap to call.
Chasing the inside straight worked for you this time but how many other times are you chasing cards like that? Most of the time you'll see your chip stack slowly deteriorating until you're busted out but that's only my opinion.

If I understand pot odds correctly I don't think you had them at any point here. The turn bet was 20% of the pot and your odds of hitting the 5 were less than that.

But whatever, some people like to take chances early when the price is still cheap in SnGs. Though that's riskier than I play in my tourneys but hey if that works for you give 'er.

When the blinds this low I figured even though its a crappy hand I can still see a flop. The texture of the flop was fairly nice those cards did not look like it helped either of us. Therefore when I am first to act and have a shitty hand ill bet 1/2 the pot I only need to win this bet 1 in 3 times to break even. The fact of the matter was that he did call and then I pretty much gave up on the hand on the turn but hge still gave me good pot odds to call. interesting hand all in alll.

You didn't have good pot odds on the turn, he made you put in twice of what break even odds would be, roughly.

Also curious why you didn't re-raise again on the river, did you fear the flush? And if so, why call on the turn at all?

he had implied odds to call. he made 11 times what the bet was, so it worked.

I bet a bit more on river:raise to 350...otherwise nice once u are at the turn u can easily call the 20 for the implied odds...on the other hand, I don't think I'd ever be at the turn with this hand. On another note, there is no way I'm betting 30 on the flop. A paired T is very vulnerable (and that's what u are repping). Bet pot.

Yup. Semantics to some, possible lack of understanding to others.
