Default how does a maniac slow play?

$20 sng, 3 handed, or maybe headsup. you have been pushing ever since the bubble and getting called only by a few pairs and AXs. then you get dealt AA. how do you get the most value out of it without being obvious?

consider even stacks with each person having less than 10bb.

    Wastin' away again in margaritaville....
keep pushing and pray they want to show you up with their A-hi and make a stand. That is, unless they are morons and won't recognize the changeup inyour play for what it is...

I push anyways. A maniac slow plays by playing all his hands the exact same way.

Check/call to the turn (slowly and deliberately, maybe throw in a minraise somewhere) and push the river (if your opponent hasn't already pushed). I know it seems obvious, but I've won countless sng's this way once it gets heads up. After being aggressive as hell the whole time, your opponent senses weakness and goes for the kill. Works against most opponents for me.

Not everyone is a smart as you... Like I said, it may seem obvious to us, but I think that works more times than not. I like this option better than simply pushing and praying that they will wake up and make a stand on this particular hand. (Since you have two aces in the deck, it's less likely they will have one, and most people want to make a stand with an ace or pair) Worst case, they check to the river where you move all in and they fold anyway. At least this way you give them a chance to make a mistake. (Or worse case they make a better hand and you loose the pot)

Ive been in this situation time after time, although usually at the $5 or $10 levels. Just wanted to back up everything Storm has said here. The vast majority of people simply wont recognise the play as overly strong. They will get their chips in with TPDK or even MPTK feeling your returning to your LHAG game and trying to push them out postflop.

    Hmmm...
I agree with both reasonings, pushing in preflop and just limping and calling to the turn. However, which strategy to use????
I always feel this depends on table image if i have been pushing the table hard and making big preflop raises/all ins. Generally bullying the other players then i would probably push the chips in from an early position. Even if they all folded its no biggie at least the aces did not get cracked.
However if you have been playing aggresivly and lost a few hands/queiting down then a limp may be a good move. However limping is always likely to get your aces cracked. Most of the time would just push them in. people tend to stand up for themselves if you keep steamrolling them and standing up against aces pre flop is good for me.

Here's a play that I like that I've been thinking about.

After proving yourself to be aggro/maniac, when you hit a flop, underbet it. Say, 1/4-1/2 the pot. They often think youre just trying to buy it woith nothing and will sometimes think for a bit and then come over you with a strong reraise.

Then, kill them with a hockey stick.
