    Very nice. Wat a horrible call by him. Why do you think he did that? Were you pushing people around?

    no not really.. if you look, he had trips on the flop which he slowplayed (bad idea of course). He just couldnt let go of his hand even when on the river it became second best..

    In that guy's situation I think his call was read based on you. If you seemed really really loose to him he is probably thinking he has the best hand. Nice push at the end, especially if you think they will call this. NH

    WP. I like overbetting all-in like this in these situations as well as when the board is one card off a straight and I have the nut straight. Another good time to do it is when a flush draw completes on the river and you have a boat.

    Not 2nd best, 90th best. Horrible call by him for so small a pot.

    just thought you might like to know...

    i read this thread yesterday and decided that i would really pay attention to overbetting possibilities in my $100NL/$200NL games as well. so i did and i have to say i am impressed with the potential. thanks for the tip, i dont expect to use this play often by any means, but i would at least like to get to the point where i'm solid on when to apply it.
