pretty much read dependent, unless the guy is nice and tight I'm going broke.
I'd say I lay down set for fear of bigger set 0 % of the time.
Lay down possibly outkicked trips 10% of the time, max.
Depends on board texture too - K77r flop pretty tough to fold any 7, any K likes that flop pretty well. 772r flop and I'm looking at 67 and the guy stays with me... here's where you maybe get away, but because people will play overpair hard in this spot it's still tough. Easier to get away if a limped pot, in a raised pot I'm usually not going to give a guy credit for a better 7.. If a flush draw is there it's hard to get away as well.
During the FSN thing the other day Dan N had KK I think in BB, Clonie SB had A2, A high flop, i think both checked... anyway turn was another A and Howard L said something like, Oh, tough for Daniel to get away now, much less likely Clonie has the A. So if Howard's saying that with Daniel not holding an A, imagine what he'd say if they were both holding an A. So if it's a leak, the pros have it too. Dan lost about half his stack here.
