    Default $10 MTT's still fishy?

After doubling my bankroll on Royal Vegas, I decided to enter a $10 MTT (Freezeout). I had only played up to $3 MTT's prior to this.

I'm doing pretty well after the first break, average stack, when I get ATo on the button. I dont have the hand history and all the details, but there were multiple limpers, and I called the BB to see a flop. Flop come T,7,3, rainbow. Everyone checks to the CO, who min raises. I figured with all the limpers and blinds, I would just take this down now and take a relatively small pot with my marginal hand. So I re-raised the size of the pot. The CO re-raises me, so I push all my chips in and he calls.

He shows Q7o for 2nd pair, and I figure that I am doubling up here. Of course I get rivered by the Q and I'm out.

Was my play terrible here? I know his was, but did I bring this on myself?

And are $10 MTT's this fishy? I expect stuff like this in the $1 -$3 range MTT's but I was expecting a higher level of play at $10.

Could use some advice and help here.

Pushing your whole stack with a pair of tens and top kicker isn't the best idea. With all limpers someone could have easily had trip 3's, 7's or even an overpair like jacks or two pair like T7s. Now, your opponent's play was just strange and if you knew he held anything like that you would push all day.

At the $10 level, I would assume more fish than good players.
    Thanks,

ok you were unlucky but i wouldnt make this play for several reasons. First of all everyone limped and the CO could have T7 73 ot T3, yeah i know those hands suck but so does some plauyers at that level. That guy was 5eally lucky to hit his queen and you played the hand fine, just not the way i would have played it :P

Well, for some reason I cant remember, I do recall thinking the guy probably had two overcards. Must have been something he did earlier, but I was sure that I was ahead in that hand, but needed to take it down there. That's all I can say.

I definitely DO NOT make it a habit to push (let alone even play) a hand like that normally, but I felt at the time that the conditions and the player warranted it.

So I guess I should play the $10's just like i do the $1-$3's then.

Sadly, yep. On UB I'd say at 30 things tighten up a bunch, PS doesn't have enough FOs for me to say for sure. The 10 RA on PS has to be at least half fish... I know it's a rebuy but wow do people make some goofy plays early.

People let me tell you about my best friends...
80% of the time you wreck this guy and laugh at him on your way to a big stack.

But before the cards were turned up, that action would scare me with only top pair, unless you had a wild-man image or had been leaning on him all tourney.

I don't know how much you were committed after your re-raise, but you could have just called his r- r/r. Since you had position, a smooth call puts a lot of pressure on him on the turn. If he went AI there, well, he'll get his death wish eventually.

    Tough call this.
I cant say i know how many fish you have on your site at that level. Where i play, a £10 freezeout doesnt have too many fish, there are a good majority of players trying to play the game positionally and properly.
    Anyways the hand.
If he rerasies me here im a little worried. I have three thoughts, overpair or set or two pair?
imo with a pot called round to you here it mite have been worth an aggressive steal preflop, but you mentioned that your not the pusher type. Therefore i guess you wouldnt push here and i have my reservations as to how much respect you would get for a push or big raise anyway if thats not ur play. (contrary to this, when i play the $10 buy ins i get respected for having the balls to push this even though i freely admit its maniac aggressive)
I cant make up my mind with this sort of hand in this position and then this type of flop whether you should take the problems out of the post flop play and push it. Its definatly a large risk, but here i sense your infront pre flop and would look pretty good post flop against anyone who calls if the pot hasnt ben raised to you.
Thats only my .002 cents but this sort of play can push you up or bust you out and its a very dangerous play, but i do suggest it as an alternative. Similarily, i would have bullied you here too with second pair if your a tight play not prone to pushing.
