Did I play this right? If I had flopped the 6's it was a definite push, but I thought that since it was an unraised pot, there was way too much of a chance he had AT, KT, QT, JT, or 9T and I was dominated. How would you have played it?
    Goal - Turn $50 into $1000 in 1 month - (August 12th)

    First 100 $5+$.50's --- ITM: 37% --- ROI: 18% --- Profit $99

from a regular player, a raise that big generally doesn't mean trips. Most people who flop trips will either :

    A) Check the flop, and smooth call any bet
    B) Check the flop, hoping to raise if someone bets
    C) Make a weak bet thats easy to call

Tough one, mostly because you're playing someone who slows plays aces (no preflop raise). Am I wrong to think limping with Aces this early is a bad idea?

Had he raised preflop you wouldn't have been in this, and because he limped in at this level, I think you'd be correct in assuming he could be playing A10, k10, q10, J10... as well as any low PP.

just because you hit trips, no need to slow play this. You're already vulnerable with your crap kicker but you have a strong hand against anyone without a ten. Looking back it's easy to say you could have thrown a $250 bet in to steal the pot right there, and any action back given it up,- but that would have been almost twice the pot (bad idea?). Let him know you have the ten, just because you're so vulnerable to being out kicked.

Even though he won, he played the hand completely wrong and should have gotten burned (agree?). I'd guess that this is the kind of player who assumes having AA is an auto-win and he's free to do whatever he wants with them. I'd also guess that he would have reraised anything you threw at him (barring an all-in, which you definitely shouldn't have done). Maybe it's the limit ring game player in me, but even losing to bad play makes me smile, knowing they'll lose in the long run.

I'd be interested in hearing what the more experienced have to say.

In a ring game I would give this one some thought, but in an SnG you need to get that "lucky" flop to put you ahead and in charge of your table. I would be willing to bet my tourney life on this no question.
