sorry guys....
anyway...ive tried to play at the lower limits like .25-.10 but i cant do it. all people do is wait for a good hand and try to suck out.
at least on .25-.50 theres some sort of raising preflop.
my bankroll started from a Freeroll on Absolute Poker. a big $2.
now im up to $115 after doubling up today.
i also play the sng's and have had a 55% itm, and 75% roi on the $2.25 games.
im not a noob or anything. im just looking at specifially how do you guys play these low blind nl games as apposed to nl sngs and tourneys. do you camp? are you aggressive?
thanks!
Well nice job doubling up. We're not saying you cant do it, but I guess just a fair warning, dont be surprised if you lose your whole 'roll in just one bad session. I mean espically if your sitting down at a single table with your whole 'roll. Whether your a noob or not, you will hit bad cards and you will lose a buy-in or two. I once went on a downswing over 4 days where I lost 15 buy-ins! (6000$) Now obviously thats by far the worst downswing I've ever had, but you get the picture. Downswings do happen and generally they happen when you least expect, i.e. when everything is going your way.
As for people waiting for cards and then sucking out.. well .10/.25 is a tedious camping game, and theres really no other two ways around it. You've got to grind it out there to build the 'roll, and thats really the only feasible way to build a big roll to play at the higher stakes.
I know you want the easy way out, and when I played 50 NL I did too. But the cards have another thing in mind.
