Default My first MTT win...a huge one, and the guy I owe it to...

Gabe, you are a fucking savior, man. You sweated me the whole way, kept me on the right path. I've only been playing for 8, 9 months, but this one came at a big time. My car just took a shit, and I felt compelled to really push myself tonight. Took some bad beats...but I kept pushing along. AK losing to AQ, QQ losing to 1010's four carded flush, with the help of Gabe, I kept myself going, and ended up at the final table with a lot of hope...I just want to share a few key hands with you, maybe get some opinions on them. I'll avoid the usual all in fests and such and show pivotal hands towards the end.

    1. This is the one that got momentum going in my way...the only real suckout I had at the final table, and maybe the tournament. Gabe and I both thought this was a push situation...

2196 dollars. Thank you so fucking much, Gabe. You've been really helpful in the last few weeks with me, and I wish I could take responsibility for this tournament, but a lot of goes to you. You are a helluva player. Thanks, man.

Sorry if this seems like me just gloating, but daaaaaamn this is huge.

I like everything besides the UTG all in with the 9s.

A hefty raise would be good. Like 5xBB, but to put your tournament life on the line under the gun, I don't agree with that.

Yeah...I was on a roll, but as soon as Hank called, I knew I was far behind. I still like pushing there...can't bank on facing another monster, but it was risky. If I had done a 3xbb raise, my standard, I would've been given the odds to call him down, regardless, Would've been roughly 40 k to win 160 k. My money was going in on that hand.

he onyl has 10bb total, its impossible for him to raise 5bb and fold to a reraise. i push 99 here everytime.

Oh, I didn't even notice he only had 10BB

I saw he was about 2nd or 3rd in chips, so I thought he would have more.

I've never been at a MTT final table. Only played in about 5 of them, and a couple were freerolls where top 50 makes it.

Gabe rocks, at least when it comes to teaching newbies to play MTTs.

Here is one that has learned a lot from the man.
