The only point I can get away from this is on the turn with the minraise... calling that commits me to calling his AI on the river... should I have put him on an 8 or JJ?

You played it too fast. Against a plr who plays garbage hands you have to play a little slower when you get a board like that. He could have anything. A $2 bet on the flop, another $2 on the turn and a check/call on the river is how I would have done it. Brunson has a nice section on playing KK and AA in Supersystem. He doesn't really say much for this case other than, "play it real slow", I think. The best you can do against this sort of player is to first get your read and then try to spot patterns on his betting.

    Drinking your milkshake.
JJ was unlikely given the limp-call by CO. Before I looked at the results i was thinking either 44 or A8 - 89s. His minraise on the turn tells you he can beat your pair so without a read, I think you fold there.

Well I would have read a set as $5 at this level is a hefty price to pay to chase a flush I'd think. I would have definately bailed out at the turn though, his hand made a set out there somewhere. But 84o?? Must be his lucky hand...

I would have been out after the raise on the turn. I wouldnt have put him on 84, but definately 8 something.
Goal: Turn original $50 into $1000 by October 31
    Current: $152

Yeah, the raise on the turn should have sent me packing.

I didn't have any reads on him.
