Presumably to induce a bluff raise and take the pot on the flop.

With a flop like that, what card will come out on the turn that scares me? I bet it weak on the flop hoping that he would come over the top as the big stack sensing weakness and then I would push him over.

I kinda blew my wad on the turn tho. The pot was almost 400 and my stack was like 600 so i pushedthe turn. Was that too much ?

Nope, but 300 and just waiting to push another 300 on the river is what i woulda done only becuase I dont expect a call.

Also, you just commit your opponent to a bigger pot with a normal continuation bet. And if the op is going to smell anything as week, it's the norm cont bet. Tiny bets are always fishy.
