Default $20 MTT at Party.... Your play?

Midway through the second hour of this MTT. Figure this is a decent hand for a steal on this table.

Read on opponent: Pretty much solid, with a slightly loose calling range. Watched him win an all-in when he bet out then pushed his top pair.

    stealing from UTG? ugh

Either throw out a ~600 bet or check/fold depending on whether you think he's on a draw or has a mid pocket pair?

The UTG steal was because the table had turned into an ultra tight one. It was basically first one to raise wins the pot.

nonetheless, steal from a different position or with different cards. Hands calling you easily have you dominated. I'd prefer stealing with 2 4 off than A7s UTG.

But here? Check/fold it down. If he's a solid player, he's got a PP and doesn't believe you.

If you are going to steal, make a real bet...a min. bet here is not going to get it done. Throw out 3-4xbb....represent strength!

You can't steal with a min bet.

Any PP, str8 or flush draw has the right odds to call your bet on the flop.

You're in such a mess by the turn I'd just give it up.
