    Default Betting same suit flop

I think that if you have a good non-flush hand betting same suit flop in tourneys is ev+ and you shouldn't keep yourself from betting for value just because it looks scary

I'm out of there if another card of the same suit comes, and I think it's uncommon for one to have two of that suit. Depends on the strength of my hand and the number of opponents, that is.

I see many people not betting TPTK just because of the flush possibilities
but later in the tournaments people just can't just limp with any two suited cards.

Question though, if you don't hold any of that suit, what are the chances of someone having the flush? Maybe that way I can see how many opponents it's worth betting good non-flush hands for value and against how many it's too risky.

I would say betting into is fine but if you meet any resistance u have to be ready to let it go, also you would need to bet the same flops when you'd made your flushes too for maximum benefit, so your opponents dont know if you're betting tptk or u flopped the nuts.

This situation very much depends upon who else is in the pot.
imo bet half the pot with a nice hand especially a set or two pair, you have at least some outs to beat the possible flopped flush. Also if you hold the ace of the colour flop then try to stay in the pot-ive doubled up enough times calling a half pot bet on the flop with this.
Same with tp/gk if you cant take it down at the flop then you have to play it by read from there.

I usually bet the situation you posted on the flop, whether I hit it or not. Many hands without a card to the suit in question will fold to even minimal pressure here. major resistance = fold, quick call = slow down.

Depends on the buy in to the tournament, who is on your table (loose or tight), whether it is a rebuy or Freeze out (rebuy bet into it all day and hope someone is chasing) and the stage the tournament is at, early or late.
