1st FTR Poker Thoughts Deadline Extended to May 31, 2004
We are having a poker thoughts contest to help build the html sections on FTR!
We appreciate all the useful message board posts by analytic authors like Fnord. We want to get more of these creative contributions and put them on the more visible html portion of the site where they will be found by Google and have a wide audience. Thus we are having a contest to see who can come up with the best poker thoughts page for the site. The authors of the most useful entries will receive prizes.
Here are the rules/conditions(subject to change):
1) One person - one entry
2) The entry must be at least 250 words(to give you an reference Tyson's http://www.flopturnriver.com/essays_...ps_0_to_2.html page is 1,160 words)(this post itself is over 400 words)(if you have M$ Word you can do Tools-Word Count to get the number)
3) There is no maximum word limit. As long as everything is explained clearly then there is no limit as to the length of the entry.
4) By submitting entries you are giving flopturnriver.com permission to include them on the site(with credits of course). We will probably only put the best entries up on the site.
5) All entries must be submitted to [email protected] with the subject "ftr poker thoughts contest." The original deadline was Friday, May 21, 2004 midnight Pacific Standard Time. We've decided to extend this deadline to May 31, 2004.

Some of the posts already on this board could be winners because they have tons of useful information that is helpful to the site. We're looking forward to seeing what people come up with. If the entries are anything like the posts then we should be in great shape. Don't let anything discourage you from trying to help FTR and win a prize. This isn't a grammar contest or a spelling bee, we're mainly looking to add fresh material that is explained well(we want the static html pages to keep up with this great message board that everyone has helped to build).
