    Default 6 > M > 10

This is a gray area for me. Do you still make all-in moves? You can still raise 3x the blind and fold after a re-raise, but now your bets are much more callable.

Also, what would be the starting requirements? Any ace and and any pair is good for a raise?

What about when there are limpers, how good should your hand be?

If there are no antes yet, does counting in M help more than counting in BBs? (Yes i have read HoH2 so dont explain M to me)

M is good. It just adds to the general confusion.

It does for me, pre HOH days I was always misunderestimating how many orbits I had left.

To - sort of - answer the question it depends on the table. If 3x gets folds around, I' d stick with 3x and tighen up, because if someone comes over top you'll be priced in - I disagree when you say you can still fold here. Do the math and I think you'll see why.

If 3x is being called a lot, I'm in AI or fold more with a much wider variety of hands. Most people need a better hand to flat call 6-10x BB than they do to go over top of 3x, so you can move with more crap.

    Agreed.

There shouldn't be any solid set in stone plays you should make based on M (except completely obvious plays), it's all highly situational.

All-in steal of the blinds is pretty standard with M > 6
Oh snap look at that I made the thingies point the right way this time :O

But now is it worth doing 3xBB blind steals? That's all I want to know so far. Or is all-in still a better strategy?

Do you steal the blinds by pushing when your M is bigger than 6? Don't you mean when its smaller than 6, ie M < 6?

Yes, if someone comes over the top of your bet then you decide to call based on pot odds and likely holdings for your opponent. If your M is 6 then you probably cant fold no matter what you have but if your M is 10 then you can fold and still be in ok shape since you have about 15BBs. One exception is when the BB is a very loose player or a blinds defender then I might consider a push to maximise the fold equity if my M is at the lower end of this range.

Yeah, M doesn't dictate play for me until I get to m=3-4. At that point I'm looking for the first first-in chance I can get to push. There are often very few hands at this time that you get folded to, so you need to gam-BOL when you get the chance.
