    Seat 9: redrose x ($1,035 in chips)
    ANTES/BLINDS

    PRE-FLOP
redrose x folds, TiltMaster10 calls $30, im nogenius bets $125, stilgar folds, kingkiet1 folds, ZoogooZ calls $95, TiltMaster10 calls $95.

    ---

Could the play of this hand have been improved?

With the blinds so low, should I have played for set value instead, or should I have raised more?

    Thanks in advance.

    looks good to me.

QQ too big to limp to set, IMO, even early. JJ I will, especially EP, but QQ I raise 100 % to open or over limpers.

The biggest difference is I can (sometimes) get away from JJ if the flop is unders and the action is heavy. QQ flops an over pair and I'm usually going to go with it.

I cant let go of JJ when its all unders. Theres no point at the 10s =D.

Interesting play by Tiltmaster he bet 50% of the pot leaving you the option to call $200 for a $600 pot or 3:1 odds.

What did you observe about Tiltmaster - was he loose or tight? Do you think he was bluffing? How did the rest of the SnG go?
Rub my magic tum for luck.

He was semi-loose, calling raises but folding to flop bets.

In my experiences, in a 3-way pot at the 5's, almost always someone has Ax.

I ended up busting him when he was SS with KK against his 44.

If you were in Tiltmaster's shoes and had an A, what would have been a better bet size?

    Thanks in advance.

If I was TiltMaster and I had an A, I would have checked it to you since you were the preflop raiser, let you lead out at the flop and then check raised you. Then if you came over the top of me and I had a weak A, I'd put you on a bigger A or possibly a set and I would let it go.

But at the $5 level, I'm guessing his thinking was "ooooh top pair, I bet".

You did nothing wrong, in fact I would say that your play was good. A disciplined lay down once the ace appears is good.

    Quoted for fact.
I think somebody said it already.
If they bet the ace let it go, no need to GAMBooL here.
I used to make a very fishy error of pushing in with the queens preflop.
Then i figured out how dumb i was and that enough flops would hit underme to allow for me to play post flop.
    The discipline is admirable imo.
