A suggestion: if a guy is doing this to you repeatedly, start checking to him after you raise pre-flop with the intent of check-raising. And I mean a good-sized check-raise, something that will make him pause and think it over. Especially do this if you flop top pair/good kicker or better, but even if you don't, this is a handy move to have in your back pocket. He'll first interpret the check as a sign you're scared of him and try to bet you out. When you open up with both barrels afterward, it may surprise him, and he may stop coming over the top of you so much.
top pair?
I think 'rilla has the best advice
The thing is, that when the blinds were low four-handed ON THE BUBBLE, I'd go over the top of him with a big raise and he'd STILL call with crap and then bet big on the round. That's how I doubled through him with a flopped flush.
He's super lagg...
I guess if I just pushed every time I have better-than-average hand he can't sit and wait for a much-better-than-average hands. What affected me is that I was telling all the hands to someone else watching it, so I'd be embarassed pushing with Q6o :D
Pushing ANY hand preflop seems EV- esp if it's 34o or worse since those hands are 33% against a random hand
