Hand 1: Is KJo worthy of a raise 4-handed? And should I have called the SS push?

    Hand 2: Is this a good re-steal?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hand #1

Depends on your read. I wouldn't want any action with KJo and if I thought the table was tight I'd put in a raise. But if it was a loose table and I was 2nd in chips like you were I'd probably let it go. On a side note, In that particular hand after he went AI, you were priced in and you had to call.

    Hand #2

Has he stolen before? If so I like your play. But if he hasn't stolen I might consider laying it down. It's always better to be the first raiser in the pot.

Hand #1: ZoogooZ has only 4 rounds left before he is blinded out, he has to make a play. You are being offered 2,632 chips for a cost of $782 3.5:1 not bad odds. Your hand is not the greatest but hardly the worst; the odds are worth it in my view.

Yes, the call is automatic but whether or not he should have raised in the first place is debatable.

Hand 1- Raise is standard, call with that price is standard. Folding here is pretty weak IMO.

Hand 2 you don't have much fold equity here, he'll certainly call with a reasonable A (probably A7+) or a PP, and if he's smart he'll call with pretty much anything. If you want to gambool I'm OK with the play, but you shouldn't make this play and expect to get a fold.

    himself fucker.
Hand 1: You're priced in. Yay. You call this and send the message that when you put chips in the pot, your ops are playing for their stacks.

Hand 2: Depends entirely on how often you have seen op raise preflop and if that ammount is always 3bb.

Hand 1 - That's not a bad hand to trap on if it is a loose table. You have position after the flop (if button doesn't call) and can trap/steal if the board looks good. The only negative here is giving the blinds a cheap/free card.

Hand 2 - I like that play. You have a good starting hand to begin with so you don't mind if he calls. I have recently been very aggressive with the hands I play on the bubble with good results (88% ITM from the bubble).
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

A couple of thoughts on hand #2.

If you were the other player and just put a third of your reducing stack in, are you looking for callers or trying to take down the pot there and then?

Imagine if you had AA, KK or even QQ in ZoogooZ's position, what would be your play - all in to win the blinds or 3 x BB looking for some action?

You are spot on and I should have realized this during the tournament.

In hand #2, Villian turned over AA.
