Villian has been SUPER LOOSE. Sucking out left and right. Pushing all in with draws on the flop and catching. It was ridiculous. The only image I had of him was LOOSE LOOSE LOOSE LOOOOOOSEEEEEE.

    Good play?
    Bad play?
    Why?

It looks fine, I'm kinda wondering if K2o is strong enough to just push against a guy raising like any two.

At the time I thought iwas strong enough to stop and go, but not strong enough to push over.

Something like KQ is definitely a push over. K9 might be starting to push the line a little. K2 just seemed to week. What if he had KK! I woudlve been ultra dominated =D

You go goot. I like it.

Only downside is if he has any heart, he's calling you all day if he's loose.

I'm not sure I like that play. If he is ULTRA loose he is going to call that with any number of cards under. He would definitely call with an 8,J or Q (obviously) and would most likely call with any heart, A, K, or 9 under.

I like the idea, just don't think the board fits the strategy. On the other hand, if you called the raise pre-flop for the specific purpose of pulling a stop and go then you go with it no matter what, right? In other words, do you worry about the board at all on a stop and go?

This isnt how a stop and go works.

You decide preflop that you're pushing on any flop. He can't fold with half his stack in there now.

That's what I thought, just wanted to make sure. In that case the play makes sense, although I don't know if it is strong enough for ME to pull a stop and go against someone who is that loose. What are your odds if he is holding two unpaired, unsuited cards between your K2?

preflop the odds dont matter (unless ur pushing over)

    on the flop
you just want him to fold when he doesnt hit hte flop (60% of the time), already has a pair but the over cards scare him (no clue of the odds), does not have a heart (no clue of the odds), scared (no clue of hte odds)

Key is pre flop you asume if he's raising he's got a good enough hand to call getting 2/1ish , which late in SNGs is pretty common. But if a flop comes and he is (more importantly, looks like he may be) a 3/1, 4/1 dog, it's not so much fun putting those chips in - whether or not the math is there.

IMO it really shouldn't work as good as it does, but it's effective because:

    1) People don't think enough about raising a SS in the blind. It's an iffy play unless you want to play for their stack. If you want to play for their stack, be ready to do it pre or post flop. But a lot of people, again, don't like putting more chips in feeling like a big dog.

    2) Some SS would only do this with real hands. It's tough to be sure who is on the Stop and Go and who slow played their KK.

I don't like it. Push over or stop n' go, you are getting called outstacked 9:1 by someone who is LOOOSSE.

Just because the guy is loose, doesn't mean he's open raising any two. And only against a random hand is K2o anywhere near a coinflip. On the other hand, you have to make your move in this orbit... better K2 than 94 or something.
