I check that river, and call a small bet on the river.
    Why?
He flat called twice in a row, Id be scared. But his raise on the river is out of line with the 7. Its not like he hit a seven and is reraising. It probably means he had a set, a two pair, or a pair that hes not afraid of.

    #59
    push the flop.

    SNG 2
    hand #34
you have the ass end of the straight. You can call there if u want but no ones raising that river unless they have a piece of that. i also dont kno if I bet that river. you might be better off check calling, but im not sure.

    hand #91
    raise preflop
bet the flop and hopefulyl take it down there.
in ur case, I would check the turn and see if u can get a free card.
  3. #3
First hand: would it be better to check the turn and give him the free card?

2nd hand: Definately fold the river. TP bad kicker is never good in a situation like that

3rd hand: The bottom end of the straight is tough, but I probably would of paid it off too. It was a good play to just call though. Pushing back at him would of been bad. I've learned to just call it if I may not have the nuts straight.

Hand 4: PFR then continue bet. In the way the hand really went or in the hypothetical continue bet, check the turn if he calls.
    pulling a courtiebee pŏŏl-ĭng ā kôrt-ē-bē (verb phrase):
    1. overvaluing mid pocket pairs
    2. knowing you should fold, but donkishly calling or raising anyway
  4. #4
Hand 1 - bet enough on the flop to commit you to the hand, go back for the rest on turn.

Hand 2 - I can't figure out why you called here on the river. VQ's push not a bad line, although I like your flop bet. Once you get called and the K hits you're done.

Hand 3 - they call it the sucker end for a reason. Check river, maybe call a small bet. With the betting patterns here about the only hand you beat is a bluff.

Hand 4 - raise pre flop.
  5. #5
Hand #41 - your 2/3 pot bet looked too much like a continuation bet and I woldn't have bet on the river after two smooth calls.

Hand #59 - With your hand you needed to take the pot down on the flop. a 1/2 sized pot bet won't do that. I would have made at least a pot sized bet and check/folded to any callers due to the poor kicker.

Hand #34 - NUff said by everyone else on this one

Hand #91 - I would raise pre-flop and follow with a continuation bet on the flop. With his call on the flop I would have checked the turn. After all, you still haven't made your hand and are behind a hand as bad as 8 2 offsuit.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.
  6. #6
    Hand#41: Good play, nice laydown

hand#59: I dont like your play here, you hit TP with a weak kicker on a board with a str8 draw, and you were short stacked. 300 chips in this situation is an easy call for the big stack, and even for the drawing short stack. Depending on the table behaviour I would bet the pot or push on the flop.

Hand #34: check-fold the river, it is called sucker straight for a reason

hand#91: I am with the majority
