Default Pocket kings (do you rep the flop)

Some1 raised in third position. Im in 7th position and re-raised a pot sized raise with pocket kings and the player cold calls. Im putting him on ace/decent kicker. the flop comes rag/rag/ace and he checkes to me. after the re-raise there is 700 in the pot. Do you bet at with a continuation bet or do you check? I bet 1/2 the pot and he cold called. The turn came another ace and he moved all-in and I had to muck the kings. Should I have checked as well to take a free card since I was behind or was I correct making the continuation bet?

    Wastin' away again in margaritaville....
raise bigger than pot sized if he's the only one in there... I triple his bet or push all in if tripling his bet is >1/3 of my stack.

if he raises im either pushing or putting him in preflop.
If he has an ace and it flops oh well.

How about you avoid the 'oh well' situation altogether?

I bet for around 500 when he checks to me, he can't play anything but an ace and if he does have an ace he WILL raise, as since he didn't bet out he would definitely be going for a checkraise if he had an ace. I think he's folding or raising to the 500 bet, get out if he raises, happy days if he folds.

set you're KK strategy ahead of time, if you're short stack, chances are you're gonna push anyways

if you have a healthy stack and an ace flops, don't be a donkey and push after he check raises you or some shit
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately
