    Default Flip or Stop-and-GO

Playing a 6$ stars turbo, theres 3 of us left and the blinds are 200/400, soon to go up to 300/600 and all the stacks are about even. I'm in the BB with 66 and utg raises to 800. I'm very confident he doesen't have an overpair here and was wondering given the stack sizes, is it better to try and raise him all in now or try a stop and go. Whoever wins the hand is going into the HU with a solid lead. I decided to push PF as he was being weak in the face of resistance.

    15000/3 = ~5000 each.

    I push over.

if he raises alot or is tight, push over.

if you are pretty sure he will call an allin preflop, a stop n go is much better.

    Push preflop.

Assuming he indeed only have 2 overcards, and you dont mind the race:

If you push preflop you either pick up the blinds + his raise, which is fine, or you coinflip.

If you stop and go he will probably call only if he hits

i really think stop n go is better. why guarantee him seeing all 5 cards? let him see 3 and then get your get your chips in. plus if you hit your set you can slow play it.

that is hte point of the stop and go.

but I htink 66 is too strong to stop and go here, pushing preflop is better.

I would prefer to take the risk of letting him see two more cards for all of his chips - therefore I would prefer to push

    They were suited!
I would run the stop-and-go here, it seems like a situation late in the tourney where he would invariably call your preflop push, and with two overcards after he doesn't hit he'd be hard-pressed to call an all-in bet. I would rather not take chances, but that's personal preference I guess.

Oh yeah, and as I understand it, the stop-and-go involves NOT looking at the flop once it comes out and NOT letting that affect your decision to push.

    Hole Cards: 66

    Flop: AAK

    PUSH!!!
