Default Is playing $5 SNG woth it b/c of quality of players?

When I actually had a bankroll before moving out of house... I was freely playing anywhere from $10-30 SNG as well as a variety of cash game levels, but recently I have almost no money, so are stuck playing $5 till I get a roll...

Just for reference, out of 11 $5 sngs played over the last 12 hours so or...:

    1st- 5
    2nd - 3
otm - 3 (all due to bad beats, which is expected in $5 sng)

    So my question is...

With this kind of success, do you feel it is profitable in the long run to stick to low buy-in sngs b/c the quality of players are so low, so easy to read, and your own willingness to make certain moves that you may not make in a bigger buy-in tourney b/c of "scared money.?" Keep in mind you are willing to play bigger buy-ins once when you get the roll..., not the fact that you will always play with scared money in bigger buyins.

If you are confident you can play at the same level at the $10 tables as the $5 tables, then you should defintely move up. The players skill level at the $10 level is not much better than that of the lower level. If you are willing to put the money in and have the BR to do it, you should defintely move up.

thanks, but that wasnt what i was asking,

i have no problem playing bigger tables...my question was do you think that its worth playing the 5 dollar tables b/c its almost a guarenteed ITM as long as you dont get a bad beat b/c the players are so bad?

So no, it is not more profitable to stay at the $5 tables. Like I said, if you have the BR to play $10 tables... move up. The skill level is basically the same, so you should be ITM about the same as $5 games. Obviously if you are investing more, you are getting more of a profit as well, so its more profitable to move up to the $10 tables.

If you were to 12 table $5 sng's, as opposed to 3-tabling $20 sng's, theoretically your ROI would be higher at the lower buy-ins, and since you are risking the same amount you would be making more money/hour right?
